Few days ago my favorite cook Jamie Oliver released a documentary called "Sugar Rush".Yesterday I finally got the change to watch it.
The movie was very touching and harsh to be honest...When they were making the normal one day food..I was so shocked how many sugars there were...And they say we should "eat" 7 teaspoons of sugars..But if there are so many added sugars it's just impossible. It showed that it's always the best to make food yourself and try not to buy any already ready food...and it made me think how disgusting fast food actually is..
When they showed how many people are sick because of it...How many young children have ruined their teeth and how many teeth are pulled out..It made me sad, literally sad. When I also saw that usually children watch sweets in shops..where will we get?
When I saw that in Mexico people drink pretty much just coca..even very small children, who's mother is still breast-feeding..they drink coca too.And average person drinks about 2L per day...They drink it more than water...and it literally made me love water even more..because it made me think how clear and good it is.
The school at the end..children do everything themselves.Food, they even grow it, they have bees, vegetables..it's amazing and I wish every school would be like that..
I support Jamie's idea to put tax on soda/fizzy drinks.I think we can earn a lot and maybe people will understand that maybe we should just drink water and I don't need that coca, sprite or whatever today..I support him and I'd like to see the change all over the Europe and even the world.
I was so shocked and I understood that if we want to change the world we need to do that and sign Jamie's petition https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/106651
