When it's warm and sunny summer day then the last thing you wanna eat is something heavy.Because I love preparing food so I have made and found some fun and easy recipes to eat/drink/snack in summer day :)
Fresh salad
What you'll need
*About half of a not too big watermelon
*Three tomatos
*One or two handfuls of seeds
*One package feta cheese cubes
*Handful of mint
*Handful of spinach
*Salt
*5 tablespoons olive olive and 1 1/2 tablespoons on red wine vinegar
Method
Basically just chop all the things (not feta cheese), put them in a bowl and enjoy! :)
Strawberry-kiwi smoothie
What you'll need
*290 ml cold apple juice
*1 ripe banana, sliced
*1 kiwifruit, sliced
*8 frozen strawberries
*1 1/2 tsp honey
Method
Blend all the things together and serve nicely :) There should be 4 servings
Berry good smoothies
What you'll need
*230 g chopped strawberries
*150 g blueberries
*75 g rasberries
*2 tbsp honey
*1 tsp fresh lemon juice
*5 ice cubes
Method
Blend them all together and enjoy!
Fruit kebabs
What you'll need
*7 raspberries
*7 strawberries
*7 red grapes
*7 green grapes
*1 smaller mango
*2 kiwis
*1 orange
*wooden sticks
*14 blueberries
Method
Cut mango to 7 chunks and do same with kiwi.Also peel the orange.Take your wooden skewers and put there one piece of everything and to the end 2 blueberries.If you wanna be little a bit cheeky drizzle some chocolate over them.And there you have nice snacks to share with your friends! (I mean of course you can enjoy it alone too ;))
Chocolate covered banana pops
What you'll need
*4 medium ripe but firm bananas
*8 wooden craft sticks
*3 tablespoons chopped nuts of your choice
*170 g dark chocolate
Method
Peel the bananas and cut them half.Melt your chocolate.Tip your bananas to chocolate, sprinkle some nuts to them and put them to freezer.Hold them there for about 2 hours and then you can enjoy your cold snacks :)
