This year I was really lucky to have be able to visit three big festivals. Let's say one festival per month. But I think they were the best parts of my summer. They are so much fun!
So I started off my summer with Pühajärve, it was with one of my greatest friend Kätu. I think none of us thought it will actually happen, but I kinda proved us wrong. And we did made it. And...let me tell you these 2 days...It was like a total girl's holiday/night out kind of festival. There were lots of great artists, Estonian (Traffic, Karl-Erik Taukar, Arop, LemonFight) and not so Estonian (Example). Also I fell kinda in love with club music a bit more. It was friends' takeaway, with lots of catch upping, make up (a bit extra if I can say so), good food and a lots of fun, Kätu fell down the stairs cmon how can we forget it :d But it was just fun and I'd say let's do it again next year!
The next one was Intsikurmu. Festival that I'd heard a lot but I never kinda thought I would go. I thought it's more for hipsters or so. But my job gave me the offer to do it and the answer had to be yes! So as I said I went with my work. It was a different experience, because I also worked there so. But I think it's all that matters. Working half time there was such an experience, that I think I will never forget..it gave me so much and I was surprised what kind of person I can be if I really want to. Also made some friends. This festival was more like...casual clothing, but I still felt totally amazing. Made crop top out of casual ones and yeah. I chilled with my work mate...also got to an adventure.
The last one...was the biggest. Of course I am talking about Weekend Festival. Really wanted to go last year because of Chainsmokers..but for some reasons and things it didn't happen. But this year..thanks to my friend Kristi it did happen. This is was totally something else. I think I have never felt so grown-up. Me and Kristi totally went out with our make ups, hair (thank you for that!), clothes. And Sten was a person who gave advice to us and was the guy side. But it was like...there were everything. 3 days of partying, dramas, little sleep, adventure, laughing, singing. Literally everything! And I am so glad I went there. Because editing the vlog...I think I was smiling the whole way, it made my heart smile. And I needed to live my life, let it all out and just be. And that was exactly the right ending to an amazing summer! This was a little 3 friend holiday, but with people who you can still be yourself. And that is the most important part :)
Sooo what I want to say is, if you have the possibility go and visit festivals..I mean you can do it all year around, but I'd recommend doing it in the summer, the weather is nice and there is time. Also if you know you kinda want to go, buy ticket as soon as it comes on sale because you get it so much cheaper (we should have done that with Pühajärve :d) and if you can't go...you can always sell it. And...get your friends or just one great friend with you and go all out. Look for festival outfits (Kristi's outfits were banging on Weekend), wash off tattoos. Just I think festivals are such a great way to go all out, find new friends and have the best time ever.
Sooo look out for next year summer festivals and book one now! ;)
