My childhood has been kinda grey, or like I don't remember much because for me it was always been...weyhey 10 places to be. But one year stands out for me for some reason..We all met up at noon, then we did our graveyard trips...just few places, where we lit candles and put some flowers there for those who aren't with us anymore. We tested our reflectors and even though if it was sad then, somehow we made it fun and homely.
Then we went to our place, we made food, made the room ready for us and then we had dinner. We talked, shared gifts and it was such a warm moment and warm Christmas, because we were all together and laughed and enjoyed the time.
December 15- Christmas decorations
In our house it's pretty classic...we have some on the kitchen window. In my room we have fairy lights and advent calendar and in living groom, there is a Christmas tree.
December 16- Christmas tree reveal
I meaaan we still don't have it. hahaha. But my friend did buy me that so volaaa.
December 17- Christmas in my home country, traditions, pictures
I don't have really many pictures I am afraid, but. The traditions here are really different from house to house. Lots of people don't even really celebrate it...But the most common is just having dinner or something with your close ones with the traditional food, playing some games, drinking mulled wine or something and then opening presents later in the evening. Also lots of people go for walks, carols, to the church, or graveyards.
December 18- Stocking Stuffers for the family, ideas
Mini coins, socks, mini books (like the star sign ones, cook books, motivational quotes), candles, eye masks, heating bags, little massage gadgets, mugs, books, maybe some mini sport things. And just some sentimental things or just things you know others want or like.
December 19- Preparing for Christmas
I usually try to do as many festive things as possible. But one of my favourite things to do is..I usually leave it for like the last week. But I put my fairy lights on, also a Christmas movie on, make a hot drink (hot chocolate, or non-alcohol mulled wine would be superb) and start wrapping my presents. All the tags and bows and it all. And it makes me feel so fuzzy, I usually wrap in Christmassy clothes.
December 20- Last minute gift ideas
A book in my opinion is always a good idea. And also some warm things...but it so depends...socks, flippers, sweaters, hats, scarf..a cosy blanket etc. Some planners or calendars...specially this year I've seen so many of these and they have just caught my eye. Also some gift basket with the staples..like every day things or something...Skincare, wash things, vitamins, some yummy food, a nice bottle...
